Carlos Lowenberg is a tax and financial strategist and author of the upcoming Wealth on Purpose® book series. Clients and others rely on Carlos and seek out his advice regarding tax reduction strategies, transitioning or selling their businesses and creation of foundations and charities.

Mr. Lowenberg is the founder of the Lowenberg Group, LLC. The Lowenberg Group, LLC specializes in building and protecting wealth for business owners and entrepreneurs and their families through key executive retention plans and executive benefits and consulting around exit strategy.

Throughout his career, Carlos has gained extensive knowledge, insight and experience. He has appeared on CNBC and Fox News and has been interviewed for Business Week. His articles have been published in the Wall Street Journal, Investment News, the Austin Business Journal, the Austin American Statesman, MSN Money, SmartMoney and on Forbes.com and MarketWatch.com.

Carlos is past president of New York Life Chairman’s counsel and is past member of the Advisory Board for New York Life. He is a founding member of several philanthropic organizations, including the Austin Chapter of the National Christian Foundation, Community New Start and City School in Austin, Texas, where he has served as its chairman for eight years. He is also past Vice President of Finance for the Austin Opera.

Julie is a seasoned Operations and Management Professional. As Chief Operations Officer and Chief Compliance Officer, Julie utilizes her over thirty years of Operations, Management and Administrative experience to provide concierge level services to our clients and our team.

Julie is a Financial Paraplanner Qualified Professional (FPQP tm), a Certified Administrative Professional (CAP tm), a Certified Organizational Manager (OM tm), Licensed Texas Life Agent and a Texas Notary. Her astute attention to detail, planning, organizational and interpersonal skills are paramount as she manages the operations of the company including Compliance, Marketing, HR, IT, Accounting, Communications, Special Projects and Client Services.

Julie’s passions include spending time with her family gardening, gourmet cooking, interior design, reading and hiking in the beautiful Texas Hill Country.

Tim Hachem

Tax and Investment Analyst

Tim Hachem is an experienced operations and finance manager with a history of helping small businesses, start-ups, and executives improve efficiency and strategize for long term growth plans.

Tim graduated from UT-Austin with a Bachelor’s degree of Business Administration in Finance and a minor in Economics. He was heavily involved in the Austin start-up scene and helped various founders set up their accounting systems, finance and sales teams, and information technology infrastructure.

Tim is passionate about helping with the refugee crisis in Lebanon and assisting the economically disadvantaged in the local community.

He also enjoys spending time outdoors, playing basketball, hiking, and following global economic trends.
